Which one doesn't belong

Can you figure out which one doesn't belong? For this activity we had to figure out on each slide which one doesn't belong then make one of our own. Have fun trying to figure out which one doesn't belong.

My name is Renee and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey Team. I have really enjoyed analysing the four original images you shared in your post. The differences I noticed were:

Number 11 is the only double-digit number.
Number 11 is the only number that has a circle around it.
Number 6 is the only number that is turned on it’s side.
Number 11 is the only odd (and not even) number.
Number 8 is the only black and white number.

What other differences can you spot?

In order to complete the activity it would be awesome if you could include in each of the slides an explanation of which of the relevant images in each set of four does not belong and why. This can be included under the “Your Response” heading of each slide.

Here is a link to Jacob’s excellent blogpost so you can see an example of what I am meaning http://pcsjacobs.blogspot.com/2020/12/slj-day-7.html.

  2. Hey Jemma,

Nice work on this activity. I think you probably spotted the odd one out in each slide, but you haven't uploaded that in the slideshow, so I’m a bit confused. However your own slide works well and I like that there are multiple differences to spot.

My answer would be the 11 because
    - it is the only number that isn’t 3d
    - it is the only odd number
    - and it’s also the multicoloured one.

See you later in the comments.
