Leadership day

Yesterday was leadership day. If you don't know what leadership day is it is a day were all of the year 7 and year 8 prefects come to Spencer park and do activities. There were six actives and most of them you would do individually then do as a team. My favorite active the flying fox were you had to try fit as many people on as possible.


After all the activities were done everybody had to write a 1 min speech about what they learnt today, what they hope to achieve next year and there strengths and weaknesses.  We were split off into two groups sat down in a circle and all said our speeches. Leadership day was very fun and I hope to become a prefect next year and help the year 7.

It represents us standing together and the shooting star is us shooting for our goals and the other stars are our goals the we have achieved already. The pink green and blue represents peace.

Belfeast

Today was belfeast. If you don't know what belfeast is it is this thing were there are a group of volunteers who make you some food and you eat it. We had nachos with mince. There was five helpers who cooked and prepared the food for us. The food tasted great.


We are very thankful that gorge did this for us. We is the one who organised all of this for us. We hope that other schools we have the opportunity to do this as well.

book week

last week was book week, every class room in our school made a awesome window display.

we chose Roald Dahl  as our author. on our window we had a lot of things from his books, like James and the giant peach the Bfg and a lot more. i made a big tree with books coming off it and i also learnt some cool facts about Roald Dahl.

On Wednesday  was dress up day. We had to dress up as our favorite book character. I dressed up as harry potter. we did a big parade with the whole school. And some people won a prize.
